Re: rel=nofollow not working?

Worked for me. I think you may have just mistyped your url while entering the comment.

Re: rel=nofollow not working?

Hi all, it seems I need this patch, but how I install it?
(I suppose I have to modify the code in the files this patch lists?)

Thanks in advance!

Re: rel=nofollow not working?

There is a way of doing this automatically with something like TortoiseSVN but to be frank I’ve never learned how to do it. Most of these smaller patches are easy to do manually anyway. If you look at the patch it tells you which files need to be modified and the first couple of lines will give you an idea of the line number you should be looking for. If you look on the left of the code lines you will see a ““ or ““ or blank. If it is blank then that line remains untouched. If it is “” then that line is removed. If it is “” then that line is added. Normally you find a “-” and “+” together which means that the second line replaces the first. Hope that’s clear enough for you and do use a good editor.

Re: rel=nofollow not working?

Exactly – the patch I submitted changes three lines, which you can see with each +/- line pair. "-" = old & "+" = new. The line number it affects (assuming you have the same file) is shown after the @@.

Re: rel=nofollow not working?

I have a 4.0.4 (r1956) installation. i have marked the “nofollow”-option in the admin panel with “no”. i expect not to have any nofollow links.

but the result is always a link with the nofollow rel.

Re: rel=nofollow not working?

nofollow should be working correctly in svn.
