Hypsometry
So… finally got around to updating my main site to Textpattern 4, and decided to clean some stuff up in the process, add a section where I can blog more freely, enable comments, tweak margins, and generally sort things out.
Who: Chris Boone, Hypsometry.
Where: Vermont, United States.
What: Web consulting.
Any and all feedback welcome…

Re: Hypsometry
You have a fabulous site dude. I love the layout and the colors and most of all your type work. The site is gentle and inviting but exciting at the same time. Really awesome job.
The only thing that bugs me really is the background hover on the headers (your h2’s). The header text is large, which is fine and awesome and I love it, but the darker background on the hover is just huge and it is almost startling.
Also, im just curious about the right margin for your body text. When you have posts that do not have a floated image it seems like you are trying to make the text look like it is in the center of the column but the right margin appears to be 10-15 pixels smaller than the left.

Re: Hypsometry
Thanks mrm52.
And about the headers: I’m okay with startling. ;)
Yeah, I’m sure I had a reason for making the margins different; but damned if I can remember it now. It was probly to line up with the last logotype I had, but now that that’s changed it makes less sense. If it ever made sense at all. I’ll try it out as actually centered and see how it looks.
