Display a list of upcoming events?

I’m making a new webpage for a university sports club – my first with TXP btw – and I want to display in a sidebar a list of upcoming events (meetings, socials, trips, etc). I’m only looking to make a list sorted by date, rather than display a calendar. From what I’ve read the rss_suparchive plugin can do the job by displaying ‘future’ posts, which disappear after the date. It seems though that the plugin hasn’t yet been updated to work with 4.0.x. Does anyone know of an alternative? Thanks in advance for any advice.

The plugin rss_suparchive should work fine in 4.0.2 im useing it with out any problems.

You can now use the time="future" argument in a standard txp:article and article_custom
See also the event manager plugin that may interest you
