RSS feeds

using <code><txp:feed_link label=“audio XML” category=“audio” flavor=“rss” wraptag=“p” /></code> i made an RSS link, which generates this url:
rss/?category=audio

but when i try to subscribe to bloglines with it it tells me there is no feed present.
is this an issue with bloglines or is there something else i need to do?

Re: RSS feeds

Are you using 4.0.2?

Do you have articles in said category?

Can you provide a link to your site, please.

Re: RSS feeds

yes, Textpattern version: 4.0.2 (r1076)
my install is at http://www.pieman.net/clients/beatbreakaz

there are 4 articles in the audio category

i just followed this guide http://www.jaredigital.com/article/130/textpattern-clean-rss-feeds-feed-updates and i can now generate a link from http://www.pieman.net/clients/beatbreakaz/rss-links/

but this only offers the possibility of a single feed, and I don’t really understand why http://www.pieman.net/clients/beatbreakaz/rss/?category=audios won’t work.

while you are here perhaps you can also confirm another feed related issue ;)
I understand you can’t modify the content structure of the rss feed.. is this right? I’m wondering if there is a way I can generate an rss enclosure containing the file attached to an article?

thanks a lot

Re: RSS feeds

Bloglines is not showing that feed, because you don’t have autodiscovery-elements in your html.

Re: enclosures – that’s currently not possible out of the box.

Re: RSS feeds

of course… thanks very much.

Re enclosures… i guess you have to hack the rss.php file? Has anyone done this already, or do you know of any plugins in the works?
