permanent links in new windows

Hi

its probably been asked before, but is it possible to open permanent links into new windows?

1. zem_link features an attribute target.
2. You could also use something along the lines of the last example to txp:permlink like <a href="<txp:permlink />" title="<txp:title />" target="_blank"><txp:title /></a>

Have you considered opening it in the same window?
Opening new windows is often considered an accessability problem.

Sometimes it has to be done, but it seems like the viewer can decide on their own where they want to go in their browser without the webmaster cluttering their desktop.

okay, step off soap box, I know.
