[plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_article_info
Just a quick one: zem_article_info.
Shows a word count and permlink on the article > write page.
Edit: updated to version 0.2. Changes:
- Works with Textpattern 4.0.4
- Should work with any permlink mode
- Adds a list of comments with edit links

Cute :-)
The permlink feature is a huge plus.

Cool. I knew it :)

This is a great time saver to check recently published articles.
One request. Can it be made to work with all url schemas? As is, the permlink derects only to the messy url address.

I like this little number.

Expanding on that idea a bit, with simplicity in mind, can it simply display the type of URI scheme that a <strike>user</strike> site happens to be using at any given time (rather than an entire list of unused options).

Sweet, thanks! I don’t mind the messy permlink url, it enables you to quickly view the live article no matter which url scheme you are using.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_article_info
Actually it’ll use section_id_title if that’s active. It only supports the two though (that and messy). No plans to fix that – permlinkurl_id isn’t available in the admin interface, sadly.

Zem, one question about the code.
Any reason you’re using
is_callable()
rather than
function_exists()
? The only reason I ask is because in working towards making one of my plugins ready for 4.0.4, i set it up to make use of
function_exists()
, and I’m wondering if there are advantages to using
is_callable()
.
