I am really thick when it comes to some of this stuff. Where do I download the RSS / Atom to; and how do I install same?
Thanks.

Re: RSS / Atom
Hi willneea. I’m not totally sure what you mean here. RSS/Atom is built in to TXP. It is an XML file. Your browser, most likely, cannot read it so it will probably ask you if you want to download it. XML is designed to be read by news readers and feed aggregators. If you use FireFox you can get the Sage plug-in for reading feeds or if you prefer a separate application it will depend on whether you use PC or Mac. I only know PC so there is Abilon and RSSReader for Windows. Others will have to advise on Mac apps.

Re: RSS / Atom
On the Mac, Safari has a built in RSS reader. Net News Wire is a good stand-alone app.

Many thanks Jackson and Stuart. I understand, now.

No, it’s meant to be XML as it is a “feed” for feed-readers. Eventually browsers will catch up and be able to read XML but until then I see no reason to take a backward step. Anyway if you are using your browser why would you want to see a feed when you can view the site in all it’s glory just as easily? :)
