Install txp twice using the same database

I would like to have two installations of txp. One for public use and another for testing. I know that i can install txp in seperate folders. But since my host gives me only 1 database, i was wondering whether that might cause any problems. SO if i have only one database how would i know wich table is for the first installation and which is for the second. Would this kind of installation make everything too complicated?

You can definitely have multiple installations in a single db—just give each its own unique table prefix.

Yep, nothing wrong with it. I have about 7 or 8 TXP install inside a single DB with no trouble.
