apply more than 2 categories to an article?
When i write an article i have only two drop down options where i can categorise my article. Is there a way of having more than 2?

Not built-in, no. More than that has been/is being thought about though, you can’t see the threads now, but there are quite a few on the subject. Rob commented on this recently.
In the meantime you can try using custom fields.

Re: apply more than 2 categories to an article?
Where authors have classified a story in two categories, I’ve been reducing the classification to 1 as this seems to make the related articles links more sensible. Lots of actual categories, but one assigned category per article works best for me.
