RPC Please?

I continue to struggle and fight off the urge to dump my textpattern install for something that handles RPC. I really need a simpler, more streamlined way to post. I know the core functions are in Textpattern’s code already. I know they just need tuning. Is this going to become a built-in feature of TxP or should I spend time implementing the plugin?

I am leery of going with a plugin for this kind of complex functionality, but I love TxP and really would rather not let it go! Is the current plugin, about which Dean has commented before, going to be “it” for a long while? Forever?

Re: RPC Please?

There already is a plugin for it… I know jonhicks and a couple other people have gotten it working and used stuff like Ecto and MarsEdit to post to TXP.

Re: RPC Please?

I am aware of the plugin, but even the author of that plugin states on his blog he is unsure whether to release the latest version and maintain it or wait for the “real thing” to come out— there are at least three different people “competing” in this space at the moment :)
