Recent comments by section?
Hi,
What I would like is a plugin that shows a list of recent comments from one (or maybe more) selected sections.
I’ve tried mdn_recent_comments_by_section but I could not get it to work as I want. It doesn’t seem like the wraptag and break attributes is working. All I get is a normal link and no list.
Any tips how I can solve this?
Textpattern-version: 4.0.1 (r888)

I’ve just tried this, Richard, and have a problem too. In the help it has square brackets and single quotes, but I altered these, tried ul wrap and li break etc. I get a list of recent comments but it shows li after each one and has not put ul in the source. If I don’t put any breaks in it outputs lines with /br at the end.
I also notice that it outputs a href=”/index.php?id=2#c000007” instead of a href=“http://localhost/mypost#c000007” which it should be. I have exactly the same problem with txp:rei_recent_comments as at <a href=“http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=11893”>this thread</a> which I haven’t resolved yet.

I’ve also tried different ways with the tag.. With or without brackets and single quotes just like you, but nothing works.. When I look at the page source all i get is <a href=”(linktopost)#2”>comment</a>. I don’t have the problem with the URL like you though.
Rei’s version is nothing for me because I don’t have the option to choose sections.
Let’s just hope someone find a solution for this soon..
