My site: Papilion Disain
Hi,
<a href=“http://papilion-disain.com” title=“Papilion Disain”>Papilion Disain</a>
recently I discovered TXP and made my site (and not only) fully dynamic.
At the moment I’m working on the another project and that will use TXP as CMS as well.
There’re few things that I miss in TXP, but I believe it is getting better in every next release.

I like the light-airy feel of the site. The English tab is a nice touch too, by the way. It renders fine in Firefox 1.5.

Hi rico, nice airy site – just wonder where are you from? Suppose Estland? May be you should mention this on your contact page?
Would you mind explaining a bit how you worked the english/estland section out?
Keep up the good work.

Re: My site: Papilion Disain
yes, it’s actually Estonia ;)
tnx for compliments!
well, there’s nothing complicated in using several languages. I mean I installed another txp for english, and no problems.
Next project will have 4 languages. And it takes small amount of time to copy/paste all the pages, forms and css. Minor changes and that’s it.
I changed the language selectors now and website looks a bit better. Also I reduced the opacity value of the titles pop-up.

Re: My site: Papilion Disain
I find the top menu and bottom banner text a bit “fuzzy” and the text on the blue “burst” graphic I find very fuzzy and hard to read. I dislike grey text on white due to lack of contrast but find it quite common on designer’s sites. Otherwise it’s a nice layout, though I liked the first one too.

Re: My site: Papilion Disain
This year’s first re-design completed! :P
Yes, I had to make some changes… and I am 90% satisfied with the outcome.
Check out and give me your crueltest comments :D
By the way, the well-trained eye will notice that the “kontakt” page doctype isn’t the same as others.
Well… I cheated a bit – as ‘strict’ doctype validation ended up in displaying red text in validator I just replaced it with ‘transitional’ and no fuzz about… yes, the question was in FORM…
Oh lazy me.
So, I’ve been told that I could need more graphics on website. I agree, but it’s not that bad without all little stylish details. Right?

Now that I like. Very clean. Nicely laid out and I can read the text too (be even better if I could read Estonian). Now this will annoy you because the part I really, really, really like is the way the logo colour changes. Love it!

What I don’t like : the menu and homepage font…
Cool and nice work. I love it.
