I was wondering if a list/site does exist of all the open source alternatives for windows programs, like: MS office – Openoffice, etc. Do you know one?

Hmm, the only I had in my bookmarks seem to have gotten a bit out of date, but you will still find some relevant names:

Re: List of all open source alternatives
Actually I was not looking for Windows>Linux apps, but Windows (not free) > Windows (free) apps.

Most of those applications are also available for Windows. Either directly, as ports, or via Cygwin.

Have you looked at TheOpenCD.org? And for a more extensive list of mostly free software, try Useful Windows Software. And if you want to take them with you, you’ll want the Portable USB Program List.
