make author names appear differently by section

Can I have authors’ 1st names only appear on the blog section of my site and full name on the rest?

Suggestions?

Try the <a href=“http://www.wilshireone.com/article/13/txp-plugin—rssifauthor”>rss_if_author</a> plugin combined with the if_section tag.
