Hello!
I just released this plugin as 0.8 stable. I did not receive any complaints any more, so I guess it’s about time. The only change since beta8 are these two tags:
Showing thumb <txp:vdh_flickr_thumbnails_pages_startthumb /> to <txp:vdh_flickr_thumbnails_pages_endthumb />.
(When using it with pagination.).

Plus I changed the default thumbnail size to ‘s”, that’s 75×75px.

Thank you Larf, if you appreciate some feedback here is a gallery I made for an organisation
For a next release, could it be possible to have a tag that just returns the image ID in the image page ?
So we could built personnal links to flickr… someting like <txp:vdh_flickr_image_id />
For example, I’d like to have, under the image (near next-image, previous image…) a link to fullsize image directly from flickr (not in textpattern layout)… this could be done easily with such a tag.

Thanks for the feedback, that’s a really nice gallery.
Concerning <txp:vdh_flickr_image_id />: That should easily be possible for the next version.
But your fullsize image link is possible already:
1. Add this to your vdh_flickr tag:
link=“original_size” (or link=“flickr”, which will show the image on flickr with an option to show all sizes)
2. Add this to your image form:
<txp:vdh_flickr_img_link> Show full size image. </txp:vdh_flickr_img_link>

Does anyone read documentation ?
Or is it not well-understandable? Maybe I should work it over in order create a clear structure that helps people to find the information they need. The documentation has grown a bit over the last months…

larf, I think you could restructure the documentation a little. At the first encounter, it looks daunting and a bit confusing.
Perhaps some table of contents at the top could help.
And one small thing: you should give the text some padding left and right. It touches the borders of the box — I’m sorry, but this has bothered me since the first time I visited the site ;-)

I don’t think it has to be a redesign. A couple of CSS rules will do the job.
And concerning the documentation: I guess something like this should be better…
Definitely. Something short and accessible at the start for the newcomers and the details below to dig into when you actually try to implement the plugin.

OK, I’ve updated both the plugin and the documentation. The new version has many bugs fixed, can show very customisable lists of your tags and has a handy random feature. And it’s all in the docs this time.
Furthermore, while I updated the docs, I made a list of features, which I found quite impressive. In order to show off, I’ve put this list on the first page of this thread.
