I'm at it again!

I’ve posted 4 new ports to TextGarden for you to have a looksie at. They are all from Beccary this time. I’m going to include thumbnails linked to full-scroll screen shots on the individual article pages and TextGarden will now be hosting “previews”. Try the demo link for “TXP Almost Spring”.

Re: I'm at it again!

Stuart, Hi and thanks for all the nice styles at your Bombsite. I am about to start a TXP site and was going to use one of your styles but I see that you’ve mentioned that you don’t use any plugins yet on some of them as they have not been updated to work with the newer version of TXP. My question, is it worth waiting a while for the plugins to catch up with the latest TXP version or should I just dive in now and hope to upgrade later. I could easily wait if it’s something that isn’t too far off.

Thanks,
Chas.

Re: I'm at it again!

Just dive in Chas. It will take you a little while to get used to how TXP works anyway but remember we are always here if you hit a problem. Many of the plug-ins do their job just fine but have a tendancy to throw up “notices” if you have your site in “debug” mode. Notices are not a problem per se. Some have been updated but there are still some that are date-reliant and throw a wobbly because the way TXP does dates has changed. Two of the plug-ins that I used in my full Systems are for search and archives. Two others I used were zem’s “contact form” for the contact page and Henrik’s “ob1_if_section” within page templates. They both work fine. I use them myself, but it seemed pointless to create a System without search or achives. It just wouldn’t be a System would it?
