actually the products client sells are based on red i.e. the core color is red but I am looking for some better color in the background, any suggestions?

Re: My First site using Txp

…here is a working link http://www.palav.com

no, don´t change the red. it fits perfectly and is a nice warm red by the way – love it.
there are some small improvements i would make like adding a kind of frame to the content area here:
http://www.palav.com/products/ and increasing padding a bit so the content area comes to the front.

However, really nice site. As a woman i would love to see bigger images of the saries.

btw if you know more TXP sites from india, let me know and i will add them to the TXP Sites Collection

Re: My First site using Txp

The columns are too wide for easy reading (I´m currently on a 1280*1024 res.) Besides that it´s a very good looking site you´ve got there!

Re: My First site using Txp

Hi RJ,
I tried darker shade but then the cener part doenst bcome readable because background is brighter than center bg, so I will keep the bg as current one.

About product catalog, I am going to add few products soon but thinking where to add them…will make something and put it :)

About Palav definition, I liked the idea and will ask copywriter to get it done…

Thanks for the suggestions.

Regards
Deep

I agree with the coloumns… and some more padding would be nice too so the text doesn’t run directly against the walls of your border like it does.
