Replace file
I have a client who sometimes want to replace pdf-files wih new ones. A there a easy way to replace files – so that the replaced file will have the same adress?

Re: Replace file
… and keeping the download count.
I would be interested too (for updated PDF files too ;) )
I do it with a FTP client for the moment. Replace feature would be better. :)

Re: Replace file
A replace feature would be nice but at the moment FTP is the only option I am aware of. I simply connect with FTP, delete the old file then upload the new one. Then in the “Files” tab, in the “OK” column it will say “missing” for the deleted file. Clicking on the file name takes you to the details screen where there is a drop-down box that will show the new file. Selecting it will replace the old file but retain the same “id” and download count. That’s a simple as it gets at the moment.

Re: Replace file
I posted a feature request on this.
Hopefully someone have the time to look in to it.
