TextDrive.com Down

So, uh, just wondering, since I know a lot of TxD people are active here too: whats going on? I totally cannot get to TxD.

I mean, my first guess would be that Pacific is down – but isn’t TxP.com hosted on Pacific?

I like wandering around those friendly and quirky forums, so to see them down is a sad sight.

Re: TextDrive.com Down

Hm, I was just there like 30 seconds ago, and everything was fine (maybe it fixed itself, or maybe your isp?).

Re: TextDrive.com Down

hmm. i asked one of my friends on a different isp, and it works fine for him. damn my local isp. damn them straight to the depths of hell. i wonder why its doing this though: i can get to textdrive hosted sites, just not to textdrive.com.

perhaps i am banned, for some reason? i could not even begin to know why. =(. I’ll email the omnipotent jason (seeing as filing a support ticket would be rather hard, wouldnt it…).

Re: TextDrive.com Down

Working fine here, and I’d know if it was down… the sound of my email coming to a screeching halt would be heard round the world. I doubt you’re ‘banned’ in any way, since the mod_security stuff would probably be kicking you an error 412 if it were something related to your specific access.

Re: TextDrive.com Down

Well, grab a free proxy for a while. I do that whenever my isp bombs on me.

Re: TextDrive.com Down

Having exactly the same problem from here. Status.textdrive.com and www.texdrive.com don’t even ping. No problem reaching other TXD hosts.

Re: TextDrive.com Down

Both of them work fine for me.

To use a proxy in Firefox:

  1. Go to the Preferences dialog, and under “General” click the button which says “Connection Settings”.
  2. Select “Manual proxy configuration”.
  3. In the line for “HTTP Proxy” enter the IP address and port number of the proxy you want to use.
