Can anyone explain this link to me?
Today I discovered my site showing up in Google search results like this:
http://rocnrollfan.com/x?http://www.doggiez.nl/
What is it? My site is displayed without style, and looking at that domain I can’t think of any possible connection with my site.
Also recently Google threw me out of their page rank (went from 4 to 0!) and I wonder if links like this might have something to do with that.

Nice, neat layout though Els. :) I wonder if it’s a search result or something.
I recently swapped my blog off the front-page and brought my original website “Home” page onto the front-page. What happened was that the “new” front-page retained the original page-rank and my weblog, which now had a new section URL dropped to zero. I presume that’s because all the links to my index.php remain intact even though the content has changed. Have you altered any URLs?

Hmm… some time ago I changed urls from /section/id/title to section/title, but it was my homepage that had pagerank 4. Also there were some other pages that used to have pr 3 or 2 and now also dropped to zero, those have never had different urls (they are just section frontpages).
I remember reading somewhere that pagerank can drop when ‘wrong’ sites link to your site, so that’s why I thought this might be one of those.

That’s weird. Roc and roll fantasy? I dont get it. I would email the admin of that domain and ask what the hell was going on if I were you. Ask them to remove your url and content.

Page Hijack: The 302 Exploit, Redirects and Google
Basically: by setting up a site that redirects to yours, they hope to fool Google into thinking that your site (and its pagerank) has moved to their URL.

Thanks, Alex. Now I’m getting really worried, especially since I don’t understand even half of that article, at least not enough to understand exactly what I should do now :(
Also there’s no email address to be found on that stupid domain… I mailed them anyhow, to info, admin and webmaster, whatever good that may do…
Oh I hate this! Has anyone experienced this and if so, do you have any suggestions?

doggiez : at the bottom of teir left buttons menu there is a dropdown menu with Admin-links inside and 3 mail adresses
Can’t help you more… if by chance you find their host you can try abuse@thehost.com…

This one is adding bits of silly text in between mine. I just mailed the domain owner, hoping that he can end this.
Is there no way to do something in .htaccess to redirect this to my 404 page, and/or in robots.txt to prevent Google from indexing this page?
EDIT: Well, this is funny :/ Apparently this guy has a script on his site, you can enter any url to make this happen. Still don’t understand how my site can end up in Google’s search results like that?

Probably someone who has Google Toolbar went to the talk like a pirate page and pulled up your site with it. That prompted Gooogle to catalog and visit it since it didn’t show up in their database so it looked like a new page. It’s Google that is causing this I’m pretty sure. Apparently they are not flitering out those kind of results in the search engine.

Oh dear! and I did that with one or two other sites, just to try… :( Thanks for explaining though. What could the site owner do to prevent this? Disallow the talklikeapirate directory in his robots.txt? If so, I will ask him.
