Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sgb_url_handler - support all url variations at the same time
Hi,
I know this plugin was not designed for RC5…but I just upgraded to RC5 and the plugin does not work well with it.
My links still work but after you click on the link and before you see the page the link takes you to, I very breifly see a white page with an error message referring to this plugin. The screen flashes too fast for me to copy the error message.
Does anyone else have this plugin working in RC 5?
thanks!

I only tried it on the URLs that I have set up.

I switched to /section/title and it works.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sgb_url_handler - support all url variations at the same time
But then the /year/month/day/title urls don’t work, correct?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sgb_url_handler - support all url variations at the same time
I figured out that the error message on the white screen was refering to the sgb_error_documents plugin. I reinstalled that and I no longer get that white screen.
But with both of those plugins enabled things are still not working properly. But I think part of the problem is my events calendar.
sigh.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sgb_url_handler - support all url variations at the same time
With the announcement of version 1.0 release, now would be a great time to update this plugin for RC5, which would mean it would be 1.0 ready. I depend on this plugin so much that I keep coming back here to see whether it’s playing nicely with the latest revisions before I upgrade my site to the latest. If only the development team would incorporate sungodbiff’s excellent plugin into the 1.0 release, I would be dancing for joy. In the meantime, I have built other sites that do not rely on any plugins until the development dust has settled. Alas, my flagship site will have to wait until this plugin is working.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sgb_url_handler - support all url variations at the same time
Just tried this again after updating to RC5 – still get errors, still doesn’t work. :o(
The shame is that it means links to older articles no longer get redirected to the right place. Do I need to offer cheese to encourage this plugin to get updated?
Cheers,
