Audio Scrobbler - Now Playing plugin?

Greetings to all.
I am trying to find a way to pull the track I’m listening to as I add items to my blog from Audio Scrobbler.

Looking at the existing bsl_ and rmc_ plugins, they both seem to focus on pulling a list of the 5 – 10 most recent songs played. What I want is to be able to add a “While typing this I was listening to: ARTIST NAME _ SONG NAME” or something similar tag to the end of my blog enteries.

Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.
(And if this is a really obvious and easily solved issue, please go easy on my TP newbie sensibilities!)
