Re: How to force txp to install a local language file?
Sencer:
Done without any results!
I’ve replaced that file (txp_prefs.php) but nothing changed.
Also, I’ve changed some words into the language file in use (es-es.txt) to see if the changes are reflected into the admin panel but nothing happens!
Clear the cache and nothing … ¿?
I’ve tryied to do things as clear as possible but something doesn´t work for me.
I’m sure that if I try to install the RC5 on-line it will work, but for a while I need to do some work in a PC without internet, that’s why I will still working on this until languages work as you mentioned.

Re: How to force txp to install a local language file?
It might be that only the part that is responsible for listing the files might be broken. You can see if calling your backend with this appended to your url might install a language for you:
<code>/?event=prefs&step=get_language&lang_code=en-gb&force=file</code>
where you can replace en-gb with whichever language you want.
An even easier alternative of course – since you are working on a local machine – simply turn off your firewall, or allow php/webserver outgoing connections on port 80.
I’d be interested in finding out what the problem is, if you feel comfortable editing php files, please e-mail me, so we can try to track down the problem.
