Re:
Given that we are getting a bit offtopic here, I would like you to pay attention to this feat:
http://www.ianalbert.com/misc/unichart.php
A chart with all unicode-characters that are available. To quote:
I estimated I could print the whole thing on about a 36“×36” poster. Well, my estimates were off. It turned out to be about 6 feet by 12 feet.
Ain’t that something…

Re:
My recent experiments using r653 with a UTF-8 database and connection and using a localized backend show that charracters in the browser title headers get mangeld.
(I’ve installed the language file manually)
For example, the output for the localized lang string under prefs(between the title tags of the backend’s pagesource) is something like this:
<code>Textpattern › ξ•ο€ξµξύξµοξ³ξ±οƒξ―ξ± ξµο€ξήξ»ξώξ³οξ½</code>
One other small observation for the option strings for the localized date/time settings in the dropdownbox under prefs gives somethings like this:
<code>ÐáñáóêåõÞ Éïýëéïò 29, 2005</code>
In any case, those are minor shortcomings.
with best regards, marios

Hello guys,
I have upgraded my server’s MySQL to 4.1.13-standard. If you need any help with testing…
