Re: Modified Recent Articles
Martagnan, have a look at the mem_article_custom plugin. That might be what you’re looking for.

Re: Modified Recent Articles
With latest revisions (280), I got a MySQL error using the plugin with a simple call like < txp:dru_recent_articles section=“article” break=“li” wraptag=“ul” />
The TXP native tag for recent article works fine, no errors.

Re: Modified Recent Articles
Jeremie, it must have been fixed since rev284 works fine with it.
The only thing I’d like is for the plugin to output permlinks instead of <code>index.php?id=xx</code>

Agreed, clean url’s would be very nice. At the moment, I’m having trouble using this plugin since my Textpattern installation is located in a subdir and the link points to the root index.php.

Re: Modified Recent Articles
Is the plugin working with the final 4.0 version? I get the following warning:
Warning: Error parsing /www/htdocs/***/textpattern/lib/i18n-ascii.txt on line 341 in Unknown on line 0
EDIT has nothing to do with the plugin! The plugin works perfect on v. 4.0.
It ´s this issue

Re: Modified Recent Articles
Cool news if it works with 4.0.x
I even think it should be integrated into <code><txp:recent_articles></code>
Selecting section and adding an offset parameter is REALLY a must-have…
Edit:
The plugin work with 4.01 to a certain extent : the outputed urls are not working.
There seems to be a problem here… If you don’t mind I’ll create another thread to attract attention on the help needed here, and report when the problem is solved.

Re: Modified Recent Articles
I have to add my request for this plugin to use clean url links instead of messy. I’d edit it myself but not sure how. Otherwise it does exactly what I need. Thanks! I

Re: Modified Recent Articles
Hi all,
I don’t know if I had been do it wrong but “dru_recent_articles.txt” plugin don’t work with my configuration. I have been looking for the reason of that and I’ve found that querys on the database do not take into account possible prefixes of the tables. To solve this problem you can replace:
$rs = getRows("select * from textpattern where Status = 4 and Posted <= now() $catq $secq order by $sortq $dirq limit $limit");
with:
$rs = getRows("select * from ".PFX."textpattern where Status = 4 and Posted <= now() $catq $secq order by $sortq $dirq limit $limit");
good luck, bye :-)
