Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

Well hakjoon,

I got it working but now when I click the buttons, say the h1 for example, it adds the <code>h1.</code> textile tag but it is not process it as textile it adds it as regular text.

Textile is turned on in the site preferences.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

The h1 title needs to be in it’s own pagargraph for the tag to kick in. Put 1 space before the title you are putting the tag on and it will work. should work :)

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

It happens while using any of the textile tags through hakjoon’s quicktags. Textpattern just processes them as regular text. It doesn’t convert them to xhtml. For the time being I have switched back to mary’s xhtml tags but would really like to use the textile version.

I am using textpattern RC3 rev. 385 by the way

Make sure you’ve got Textile turned on.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

I’ll try to double check everything this weekend to see if there is a problem. I really just ported over the code I wrote for my textile quicktags implementation but I only quick checked it. I’ll have some time this weekend and I want to try to make images and links work too.

I had not heard any feedback on it. Is it working for anyone? If not then I messed something up big time.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

I just checked: its because you’ve kept the space in front of the Textile tags. The space was there to escape Textile and allow html. Remove the spaces and it will work fine. :)

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

Ok I fixed the spaces. I had to upload a brand new file because all my browsers kept giving me the cached broken one for some reason so please refresh teh page to make sure you get the right one. it should be downloading file number 8.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

The ol and ul textile tags need a space after them.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_quicktags: Implement Alex King’s Quicktags

I updated the archive with fixes for UL and OL. I also removed some OS X junk that seemed to have ended up in the archive. I’ve been in the process of switching to a powerbook and apparently there are some little surprises with some things like zips.

Thanks for catching this. Need to do more QA, I released this so fast. Sorry for the shoddy offering.

same link as before but here it is again just in case.
