a firefox Textile extension ?

I just browser firefox’s extensions repository and in the blogging category I came accross a handy thing : a firefox extension giving you right click access to BBCode.

Wouldn’t it be great to have the same thing for Textile :-)) ???

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

Why should I? ;)

Seriously, I started using Markdown before using TXP, so it’s second nature for me now.

Thank you

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

It’s not exactly a pluging, you just have to replace classTextile.php with PHP Markdown

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

I like both textile and markdown, and i cant realy decide what i should chose, but i did a write up how to set up markdown with textpattern for a while ago, i also did some hacks so txp plugins doesnt get wrapped in p tags.

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

Very interresting… I’ll stand by textile nevertheless, it’s now second nature to me.

But thanks for the info, might be useful for friends or customers :)

As for the plugin being wrapped in p tags, I’ll check that it might make life easier for pages layout.

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

well its not always semantic correct when plugins are wrapped in p tags, for example my glx_image plugin uses something like div img div caption

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

Great. The extension is installed and waiting for work. This will come in handy especially for Backpack

Re: a firefox Textile extension ?

OK thanks for your reply :-)

It’s a wonderful FF extension, I just wished I could use both BBCode and Textile, so I’ll wait for 0.2 :-)

Same here… I use BBCode more right now, so no ConTextile for me yet. :(
