Yepp, and zem has provided some generic tags for doTag and doWrap.

When I find some time, I’ll see that maybe I’ll have something done before 1.0.

Ahh I missed that one. If you look in the db on rev344 we now have CAT TITLE collumn being populated with “Original Name” and CAT NAME collumn being populated with “original-name”.

Which tag / plugin else can i take to get the same result as with Sencers neat plugin.
<txp:category_list> returns all categories. I just need a list of the categories which appear in a section.

but that is not what i like to achieve. I like just a list of the categories within a specific section. Is there no other plugin out which works pretty similar to Sencers plugin?

i was blind… worked it out now and achieved an even better solution.

I will add some lines for german users:

Um eine Liste der Kategorien mit den dazugehörigen Artikeltiteln auszugeben, wie es auf textpattern.kbbu.de in der plugin-section gemacht ist, kann man das rss_suparchive Plugin von wilshiere nehmen. Der tag sieht dann so aus:
<txp:rss_suparchive_bycat showsection="Sektionname" showcats="1" section="Sektionsname" showarticle="0" />
bin ich auch erst Dank Jacob drauf gekommen.

Will man nur die Kategorien einer Sektion ausgeben, nimmt man:
@<txp:rss_suparchive_bycat showcatsonly=

Sieht gut aus, alexandra :-) Bin selbst dengleutsch nutzer. Dem Dank soll Wilshire gelten – schliesslich baut er sein plugin unermüdlich weiter aus! Nur durch die viele Optionen hat es ein wenig an Übersicht verloren – Tja, man kann ja nicht alles haben…

How might I go about turning a category list such as this:

into an image category list?

This is a great plugin. Thank you.
I have one tiny problem. It won’t work on my front page. It works perfectly in my other section.
I also tried zem_popup_cat with the same result: nothing on the front page; perfect on the section page.
However, cbs_category_list works perfectly on any page. But I don’t want a list. I want a popup.
What am I doing wrong?
