[request] Signup

I woul really like to have a plugin that let the users signup up for example subscription for a magazine, and that the user detalis is stored in the database and a mail is sent out to confirm, and that you could have a counter to display how many that have signuped.

I’ve done this kind of thing a number of times, and it’s always a custom job. A generic plugin is unlikely.

You can try to add an extra script to Textpattern for this. Something like PUMA might work. (I think you might need to use a “non-database” script thought, because otherwise it might interfere with textpattern.)
