Re: [archived] txp->gallery

I like the fact you’ve released GPL software for textpattern. Ihate the fact you’ve clearly ripped your CSS layout, design, colours and icons from Whitespace. Should you tell Scrivis, or should I?

Re: [archived] txp->gallery

Thanx for noting it down and I have this clear with Scrivis, he knows but thx for being so aware… I am using his CSS as a starting point. Also I have contacted Jeremy about the Javascript.

PS: I am usually flashing and this is the first time I ever touched CSS/xHTML

Re: [archived] txp->gallery

Not sure of the luck involved in getting this to work… but I’ve got a couple questions.

First, could you please break down a little more detailed explanation of the process to get the gallery to work? I’ve been unable to get it to function correctly and there is no FAQ or mini tutorial.

Also, what’s with the code it generates?

  1. </li> follows the image — but it’s never opened with <li>
  2. the 1/2 <li>’s are not contained within a <ul>
  3. some is xhtml & some is html

Any help would be appreciated as I think this has great potential!

Re: [archived] txp->gallery

Cool, 1.21 works great!! Thanks. But is there any documentation about the parameters I can use? I want the picture above the linklist. Possible?

Example:

Re: [archived] txp->gallery

Turbo-G,
Most of the parameters are on Max’s website. I know you can use break, wrap, usethumbs. If you want to change the layout, make a container with id=“your_photo” and description with id=“your_description” and then use the tags imageID=“your_photo” descID=“your_description” and CSS to place them where ever you like. It works pretty well and I have an example up.

Re: [archived] txp->gallery

Okay, cool. All I needed was the imageID-Tag, which I understand now! Thanx!

Re: [archived] txp->gallery

Okay, so I had the last version of this gallery plug-in and when I updated it, this is what got spit out:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare gallery() (previously declared in /home/brewerde/public_html/txp/plugin_gallery.php:24) in /tmp/pluginsx9ThSL on line 470

So, I promptly de-activated it and am wondering what can be done?

To even the least of these…

Re: [archived] txp->gallery

The package contains two installations the old and the new one…
You have to use only on of them…
Do one of the following…

a) deactivate the gallery plugin under admin->plugins

or

b) comment the version you ar including via publish.php

My old version of the plugin was still included manualy.
This update still contains both versions…
Read the INSTALL file that comes with the gallery plugin
and choose one way.. but not both..

regards & have fun

Max
