url section on section ..

hi, i am currently using txp 1.0rc3, and would like to know if there is a plugin or way to make sections compile from another section.

for example:
say some one clicked on the media section (example.com/media/) and from there navigated to a section called “tripphotos”. To get to “tripphotos” they had to go through two sectiopns, photos and recent. When they finally get to the section “tripphotos” the final url would look like so example.com/media/photos/recent/tripphotos/.

i am asking if there is a way to do this, and if NOT, is there a possible plug-in I can install to do this. If there is no plugin or way to do this, I am asking if the good people at txp can create a plugin or update the current version to enable this. This is a much needed feature on txp and would help out me along with others a lot. thanks

Re: url section on section ..

That’s called “breadcrumbs”. Search for that term and you should find what you’re after. :)

Re: url section on section ..

that goes by section/category/category2/ and so on. i want it to be section/section2/section3/ and so on. this way when you start off at the first section, each page you open from there will be a branch of that section. basically when you click the main section (/section/), and click on a link within it another page will open (/section/subsection2/), and so on. making this contiue for as long as need. not just categories, but sections

although, if im mistaken, can a cateogry be a new seperate page?
