Re: [archived] dca_pop (easy image links)

I am getting the same problem as sneuweger, meaning the pictures show up in the main-window as well as a popup-window. That means having to close the popup and hitting the back button to get back to the page with the post before being able to move on to the next pic. I am also using Firefox 0.8, and IE 6.0 works fine.

Any idea what might cause this and how to fix it?

Also, would there be a way to make the image itself clickable to close the popup? I know the JBE_DSImage allows me to do that as well as having a Close / Fermer text closer in the popup, and I was wondering if something similar can be done with this popup.

Any chance you’re using the Tabbrowser Extension? It is known to cause problems with JS’ed popups.

Ok, Mamash, I am using it so I’ll remove it and see.

Re: [archived] dca_pop (easy image links)

Other question: I would like to have the possibility to add copyright notices with series of thumbnails in an article, as well as with the picture that pops up when clicking the thumbnail. Anyone have any suggestion on how I could do that?

Also, does anyone know if/how I could add a caption to the popup, as well as a close button?

Yes, was wondering if it were possible to add captions to the pop-up. Thanks!

Re: [archived] dca_pop (easy image links)

Has this plugin been extened or was it replaced by another one? Adding caption information as well as additional links would be very useful indeed.

Thanks,

It does a little more than this plugin but you might want to check rss_thumbpop

I have rss_thumbpop running for my Albums if anyone wants to see it in action.

Re: [archived] dca_pop (easy image links)

Thanks for the pointer, this looks like a very powerful gallery plugin indeed. Looking at the examples, however, this seems to require a thumbnail?

What I am looking for is something that opens a popup window for about a dozen text snippets within an article. Considering to write an extra fake article for each image and simply linking to those, but that seems an incredible amount of work and duplication for such a simple task.

Yes you need a thumb to connect to the pop-up.
