I decided that my method of determining in what subdirectory txp is installed was shit and implemented another method for version 0.3.2.
I propose you just try it out and change the .htaccess files to their original state.

Hello!
Now there’s version 0.5 online.
This version gives you many options to customize your gallery, for example switch descriptions on and off or change the text of descriptions. Furthermore, it comes with an excellent slideshow option.

OK, I’ve made a first version of vdh_flickr that runs on BOTH php5 (with simplexml enabled) AND php4.3 (with dom xml enabled).
I tested this with php 5.0.3 and php 4.3.11.
In order to use this with php4, you must specify use_php4=1 like this (you can also change this in the source code):
<txp:vdh_flickr email=“test@test.com” use_php4=1 />
I’ve just stopped coding one minute ago, and changes are big this time, so I won’t release this before someone else has looked over it.

OK, I had the time to look things through this afternoon, and I must say it’s running fine so far. That’s why I released it as 0.6 right now, the demo gallery at <a href=“http://www.rvdh.net”>http://www.rvdh.net</a> is already updated.
The most important new feature is php4 compatibility, but there is also tag support. The pics in “CeBIT ’05” and “Winter 2005 Hohenlimburg” have tags shown at the bottom of the pics, which are clickable to get all pictures with this tag.
Furthermore, you can directly select pictures by tag with vdh_flickr_thumbnails.
So just check out the help file to find out how to do stuff in detail.

This is a great plugin. I’ve installed it here and it seems to work perfectly under php4 on TextDrive.
This plugin might be the reason I buy a paid Flickr account.
