[plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_admin_show_adv_opts

NOTE: As of TXP 4.2.0, this plugin is no longer necessary; the state of the panes is automatically saved. Please remove this plugin from your sites to avoid any incompatibilities

This is a pretty simple plugin but a useful replacement for the Advanced Options open by default hack. This is used to automatically expand the advanced article options when you’re on the content -> write tab without having to manually click the “Advanced Options” link.

Download rss_admin_show_adv_opts

The plugin requires Rev 198 or later which is when admin-side plugin support was added.

Do I need to do anything special besides activate the plugin to get this to work? I’m using RC1 and QuickPik3, and the advanced options remain closed when I edit an article.

admin side plugins only work in RC3 rev 180ish and beyond

And, admin-side plugin support: Did I miss the pomp, circumstance, and fanfare accompanying that addition? I will upgrade pronto.
