This is a very cool plugin, Manfre. I’m having a problem that I can’t quite work out though. I installed the plugin and got it working just fine on my local instance of TXP, but when I move it to my server (Dreamhost), I get the following error when I try to upload a file:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/kimili/kimili.com/files/kml_flashembed_tp_04.zip) is not within the allowed path(s): (/dh/web/phpmyadmin:/tmp:/dh/solidclient:/usr/local/lib/php:/home/kimili:/home/.balaena/kimili) in /home/.balaena/kimili/kimili.com/textpattern/include/txp_file.php on line 307
I know that this “open_basedir restriction” has manifested itself in different scenarios, not involving this plugin, but I’m not sure why it’s happing here. Do you have any insight?

No matter – i figured it out. It’s an issue of how my host, Dreamhost handles PHP…
