Japanese translation

Hi guys,

I’m not sure if Japanese translation has been done after all, but my version of ja-jp.txt and ja_dates.txt have been sent to Dean. I haven’t finished the design of my site yet, so I put some instruction in my annex:

http://lazycircusannex.blogspot.com/2004/10/txp-textpattern_21.html

Note that the instruction is written in Japanese. The latest ja-jp.txt will be available for the time being from:

Thanks,

LC

Re: Japanese translation

Cool,
That was something we had been planning to do during the summer. Workload came in the way.

Thanks

P.

Re: Japanese translation

How does date localisation work?

Supposing I wanted Japanese dates, I’d have to complete this form, send it in and wait for it to be included in a future release?

Or where would I include it in the source?

Re: Japanese translation

I believe we’re kind of waiting for it to be supported by a future release. Hopefully it will be supported by version 1.0.

I’ve sent ja-dates.txt to Dean, by the way. Let me know if you’re interested in my version of Japanese date file.
