WTF?! LOL
“abducted American women”? WTF does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Besides, I wouldn’t know. My significant better half is Scottish. And she sure as hell wasn’t “abducted”. Heavens no. Her Scot blood wouldn’t have any of that! If she knew of any “abducted American women” she’d sure as shit have done something about it.
Have you ever done acid?

Sorry, I must have missed that one. Next time I’ll try to look harder for one line messages buried in 18 page threads when I go to source my news.

When you go to download software you don’t expect to find only an RC1 available, and you certainly would find it unusual to see the RC1’s release date being 5 months ago.
>>1.0 being beta tested? What do you think we have all been doing for the last year?
For the last year we certainly haven’t beta tested 1.0. I’m talking about the changes between RC2 and 1.0. Will these changes be tested by the community before 1.0 goes gold?

Sold to Canadians? Doesn’t that quality as a “fate worse then death,” eh?

Re: rc2 and 1.0
duffe: why are you here, exactly? It’s not for the features, it’s not for the people, it’s not for the potential… so, seriously, why?
Textpattern is not for people who like deadlines and workflows and regular status update memos.
Textpattern will not send you TPS reports, with or without the cover sheets.
Textpattern is probably not “enterprise”, whatever the hell that means.
Textpattern does not do RUP.
Textpattern will not leverage synergy to vertically integrate your paradigms.
Textpattern probably will not follow your corporate dress code.
Textpattern is for madmen, lovers and poets. It has a soul, and it’s meant for human beings to use. It’s as passionate about the things you care about as you are, and if you’re willing to put in 20+-hour insomniac days to change the world or make something beautiful, Textpattern will happily stay up all night with you. It’s a labor of love, held together with the support of a bunch of crazy people who apparently just showed up here one day and started helping out, and I personally don’t think it could be done better any other way.
If that’s not your cup of tea, that’s cool. But if not, then why are you here?
You cooin’ with my bird?

Textpattern = program & only a program. It is nothing more than a textarea box with additional capabilities.
Now.
Get down from the marketing/propaganda/lets-forget-why-some-of-us are-annoyed soap-box, mmkay?

Sheesh. This is all getting far too intense. Like a car crash, horrific, but can’t not look.
Where’s Matt with an amphibian surgery photo when you need him?
