Everybody who feels like they got a status report when they heard the word “soon,” raise your hands.

Re: rc2 and 1.0
Part of me doesn’t want V1 to come out soon. This thread is too much fun watching us all squirm and scream in impatient agony.
“We” do realize “we’re” doing this to ourselves. Right? We are aware of this fact. Yes? Say yes. Go ahead. Admit it. We’re like a bunch toothless fat politicians screaming for more candy.

I’m never sure whether
I hope Dean reads this thread and silently chuckles
or
I hope Dean doesn’t read this thread and avoids certain frustration
I guess I hope he reads it for fun once he’s done.

Maybe Dean’s reading this thread and totally forgotten what he was meant to be doing.

I just wanted to add to this topic just to say that I have nothing to add to this topic.
How am I supposed to enjoy this with you crying?

Re: rc2 and 1.0
I think we’ve been using the wrong sort of poking sticks. They’re just not man enough for the job. May I suggest that we all start using these from now on? Now that’s a proper poking stick, eh?

I think then we’d have to call them impaling sticks . . .

Lesson 1: Don’t give things away for free
Good thing he didn’t read past the intro.

Re: rc2 and 1.0
grumble
It would be nice if the main developer could at least take 60 seconds to post a, “Hi! Still working on it.” message, but I guess those of us not in the know don’t deserve that.
