As best as I could determine, this comment is the last time we knew where things stood.

The thing is, there are plenty of people around here perfectly willing to assist in the auditing if given the chance.

Dean should be here giving us hourly reports on the status. No. Strike that. Every fifteen minutes!

And I want a pony keg, and a big beer stein while I wait, Santa.

All I wanted was a status update…which Jason provided.

Re: rc2 and 1.0

hmmm, tried wp months ago, and tried it again yesterday after someone mentioned here that 1.5’s out. still don’t think it’s as idiot proof for php illiterate buggers as some of the other cms’.

that’s why they’re called “cms” aint it? like txp and mt? they suppose to “block off” some scripting aspects of web publishing for laymens? looking at the templates for wp turns me off, it’s looking well, like php … haha.

anyways, to each his own, favorites still txp … and mt. that’s why I’m always not waiting and already using txp … (just wondering WHAT’s going to be in v1.0 that makes everyone waits?)

please don’t flame me … kehkeh …

cheers,
Th4r

Re: rc2 and 1.0

well, for those excited about wp1.5 … seems like it’s NOT “the most stable wp release after all” … super stupid mistake … (sorry wp) … wonder what they mean by “stable”

hmmm, stuff above quoted from one wp forum … forgot to “quote” it.

just wanna enforce my stand about building cms’ for non-geeks … most of them didn’t “upgrade.php” …

This is a switch. First you ask us to join you in poking Dean. Now you want us to poke you. How does your significant other half feel about all this poking you’re engaged in ; )

<i>Dean, you gotta save us from ourselves. We’ve finally gone off the deep end. Throw us a life line … ‘er a V1 … ‘er a life line…. ‘er a V1… ‘er a …..</i> <i><b>PLEASE. WE NEED HELP</b></i>

Re: rc2 and 1.0

I’ve got a new idea. What if we started a drive to send Dean a crate of his favorite cookies as a reward for releasing 1.0?

Re: rc2 and 1.0

me, I’m gonna open a ’99 penfolds shiraz as reward for waiting!

also as per an earlier comment, I’m just about finished a project with the old gamma (it couldn’t wait) so that’ll precipitate 1.0 niceness for sure

cheers text*

Cookies? Are you kidding me? I’ve got a better idea. How’s about we send him a business communications 101 textbook?

Oh oh… I’d better go. Here comes one of the mother hens ; )
