plugin: anc_anyimage

UPDATE 2005-01-30

Wilshire pointed out that I have created an entirely superfluous plugin, that duplicates the functionality of the <txp:image/> tag, which I had somehow completely overlooked.

Therefore, I have removed links to the plugin download and archived the info page on my site.

Etz, a rollover plugin is an interesting idea, and although I don’t have much use for it myself I may take you up on that – but regardless, I think I’d call it something other than ‘anyimage’ :)

Perhaps a moderator should axe this thread?

Re: plugin: anc_anyimage

I don’t know if your plugin does anything more but this can be done with the txp image tag.

<txp:image id=“123” />

Re: plugin: anc_anyimage

Well, then it would appear that I have reinvented the wheel. How embarassing – I never came across the txp:image tag while looking for this functionality, nor did I notice it in taghandlers.php. Sheesh. :(

I’ll have to think of something else for this plugin to do.

Re: plugin: anc_anyimage

When you’re on the images page you’ll see a column called tags that lists “Textile / Textpattern / XHTML”. If you click on any of these it will build the appropriate tag for you. The Textpattern option will build the txp:image tag for you.

Re: plugin: anc_anyimage

So that your efforts don’t become completely wasted: Try to expand this plugin to make it easy to add image rollovers in TXP pages. ;)
