First of all, thanks to greenrift for an excellent addition to TXP and also the folks in this forum for sharing their experiences and their help- I am new to TXP, CSS, etc and still I have a working web site in only a couple of days.
One question:
As I browse through my pictures, the title on the browser (Firefox) top bar changes – for most pages including the album list, it shows only the domain. Once I go to the page that shows the thumbnails in the albur or a specific picture it adds a colon and THE NAME OF A PICTURE FROM AN UNRELATED ALBUM.
What’s going on and can it be fixed?

dmcdonald – are you using the “ap_pagetitle” instead of “pagetitle” tag? Try that if you arn’t.
vibe9 – I’ll add that to my list of fixes, I never really checked around with the permissions stuff.
I’ve looked at the flickr gallery plugin for Wordpress, and it is really sweet. I can totally understand the reasons for using Flickr, and having a plugin that allowed one to use Flickr for managing and Textpattern for displaying would be awesome. It might be something I’d look into making, after 99.9% of the bugs in AP are squashed and bulk uploading works, and after rewrite rules are offically supported.

having some troubles here. everything is installed as per the instructions, but i’m experiencing several problems.
1. in the textpattern control panel, the tab that is supposed to say “albumpattern” under the content tab now says “tab_album” for some reason. checked in txplib_head.php and it looks like all is as it is supposed to be.
2. when i go to upload images, no content is displayed when under the albumpattern/image tab. is this possibly a path issue? is this related to the “ap_im_path” in the albumpattern prefs? what should be in the “ap_im_path” field?

I installed it and I get the tab in the admin.. but the plugin doesn’t show up in the Admin/Plugins section.. I tried to upload “albumpattern.v1.0TR4.txt” via the plugins panel.. but it doesn’t work.. people here are saying I have to ‘activate’ it.. but how can I, if it isn’t there? Please.. some help..

Did you put the txp tags in your section you dedicated to your photo album(s)? And create the associated forms?
Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
