Re: asy_category_tags - Some additional category Tags
I have another issue with this plugin. I currently only have 2 entries and each is in a different category. But my category list is blank.
The page is here: http://wifetalks.com and the code I’m using is
<code><pre><txp:asy_category_list wraptag=“ul” break=“li” /></pre></code>
I’ve placed the code on the default page template, so it should appear on the FrontPage of the site.

Is this plugin functional in 1.0rc1. I get absolutely no output, no matter what I try.

hi sencer, I’m not getting any results from this plugin in RC3 — should I go back and try harder, or as your initial post suggests, the ground has moved under our feet?

Hi nardo,
there have been changes made that affect some of the global variables. It may well be buggy. I will try to update the plugin shortly.
On a currenty test-site asy_showcat and asy_category_popup do work for me, though. (asy_category_list messes up the break-tags.)

Hmm, I’ve used this plugin before, but cannot make category_list work on current site…
I use the latest SVN…
Anyonw knows of any other plugin that will let me outout a list of categories in current section?

The reason why I am waiting at the moment, is that the different url-modes will influence how and when the plugin will work. I want to see if there will be made any more changes to it until 1.0final or wether it stays the way it is – otherwise I will end up with a very suboptimal solution or having to re-do it again once it goes final.

hmmmm. This would be exactly what I need. But it obviously doesn’t work in RC3. Any hope to fix that?

That’s already been answered;-)
Sencer wants to wait for the final 1.0 release, to make sure the plugin won’t break again, beacuse of changes to dependent files.

We could be waiting a while for 1.0 final…….But Sencer is right to wait rev344 has made a few cat naming changes.
