A guide for writing textpattern plugins
There have been multiple inquiries regarding the existence of a guide to writing plugins so I’ve attempted to write one.
Disclaimer: I am a mere PHP hack but have pieced together various resources and learned how to create various plugins and hacks (rss_suparchive, rss_thumbpop, quikpik, etc). This guide is a compilation of the resources and tools I used throughout my learning process. This isn’t the only way to do it, just my personal experience and hopefully a way to get people started.

Much appreciated. You write well. Obviously this disqualifies you from putting together program documentation.

Heh, thanks. I do have a bad habit of writing good documentation. I’m just glad if others get some benefit from my <strike>pain</strike> effort.
