Plugin Request: WYSIWYG for Article Editing

I’m trying to get the FCKEditor WYSIWYG to work with Textpattern. It’s really easy to install. But before I go hacking the Textpattern code, does Textpattern’s plugin API support adjustments to the admin area? It would just need to add a few lines of code to the <head> tag on the edit article pages. I’m handy with PHP and could probably make this plugin myself if someone were to give me some tips.

1) Do plugins currently have the ability to add stuff to admin pages?

2) Is there any documentation for writing Textpattern plugins? Where do I start?

And/or if someone else has the energy and knowhow to make this plugin, I’d be happy to help in any way I can.

Thoughts?

-Jeff

1) No, not at this time. It is rumored to be in the next release.

2) These forums are a good place to start for concepts. And just take a plugin that is similar, and look at the code. Currently there is no plugin documentation.
