MariaDB testing offer

I’m setting up a new DIY / barebones web host account for some tyre-kicking and tests, and they’re only offering MariaDB (no MySQL). The two most recent LTS branches are available, which as I understand it are where the time stamp issues have arisen.

I am happy to be a guinea pig for MariaDB tests while snags are found and ironed. If that’s of any use, would you prefer I use MariaDB 11.8 or 12.3?

Both, actually, but rather 11.8 if you have to choose. The latest versions can often be tested online.
