Just noticed with 4.91 update - single article on homepage...

All my other sections look normal — that is, in my case… 5 articles per page -

using “<txp:article limit=“5”/>”

on my DEFAULT page… I just get one article…

Anyone else notice this?

Also noticed that new articles are not visible on the homepage…

I can’t say why the display has changed, but check in Presentation › Sections that the sections with the articles you want to see on the homepage are set to “show on homepage”.

The issue may have been identified — and it is a quirk in the database…
The senior DEV team is working on it…

Are they? That’s good to know :)

Please share your Diagnostics, as jakob suggests, because if you’re running 4.9.1 then the patch you queried on the other thread has been applied. Knowing your server environment is invaluable for debugging.

Also, if your default page template is not behaving, posting the relevant tags that are misbehaving (the article tag(s) and the newer/older links) will be a great help.

My diagnostics show no errors of any kind…

Should I re-download 4.91 and re-install it?

The point of posting the diagnostics isn’t to see the errors, but to see your server environment.

Should I re-download 4.91 and re-install it?

It’d be more useful to post your relevant tag code first, in case it’s something there.

If you pop over to my blog (coffee.bc.ca) you will notice a slight improvement in behaviour -
The 1st article does not “hotlink” but the subsequent ones do…

And the “front page” is now listing older articles…

Not sure why…
I also noticed that despite the time zone setting, the articles are being posted 1 hour in the future.

Re: Just noticed with 4.91 update - single article on homepage...

And now… apart from Textpattern posting the new articles as published 1 hour in the future (which I can quickly adjust…) everything is behaving normally again.

This has been a head scratcher…

Weird. All the articles link to their individual articles for me from your default page. And the newer/older links work.

despite the time zone setting, the articles are being posted 1 hour in the future.

Where is the posting date shown on the website? I can’t see that anywhere.

Thank you for the diagnostics, btw.

At this end I can see everything now — and everything has returned to normal…

Will keep poking it with a stick to see what happens… :-)

Re: Just noticed with 4.91 update - single article on homepage...

This might explain the 1 hour offsets, if db time settings were changed outside of txp:

Database server time offset: 3601 s
