Upgraded: PHP 8.5.0RC4.
Note: this was done three days ago, but I was juggling too many things and forgot to inform the forum faithful.
All being well, we will have PHP 8.5.0 GA in less than two weeks…then we can top & tail the changes for Textpattern 4.9.0 and get it out. Rah!

Note : this is an extra / additional RC.
All being well, we will have PHP 8.5.0 GA in about a week…then we can top & tail the changes for Textpattern 4.9.0 and get it out. Rah!

Note: this is the first post-GA RC release for the first PHP 8.5 patch release. Historically, the first wave of PHP patch releases address some of the early-adopter bugs. This release allows us to check Textpattern against revised PHP code.

Changed: Nginx now compiled with OpenSSL LTS branch (currently OpenSSL 3.5).
Note: the non-LTS OpenSSL 3.6 branch has changes that make compiling a bit more tricky, so we’re sticking with OpenSSL 3.5 for now.

Disabled: beta-demo is now in hibernation.
Edit: accessing it will trigger an Invalid SSL error. This is expected.
