Twenty years here
It was 20 years ago yesterday that I joined this forum. I was knee-deep in Textpattern 4.0.2 after using b2/cafelog and b2evolution for some time.
(Aside: there’s a fella called Matt who took b2/cafelog and forked it into something else with a bit of help – that’s turned out to be quite popular.)
I’ve seen people come & go from this project, I’ve lost sleep over it, I’ve thrown my toys out a few many times, and I’ve had dealings with some of the most caring, genuine & smart people. I’ve learned a ton, I’ve taught a bit, and I still have a fondness for this place.
Here’s to the next 20 years of lost sleep, thrown toys, and care!

Happy 20-a-versary, my good friend.
So glad you’re still around. We rely heavily on your expertise, and I’m glad the project still holds value for you after all this time. I regularly learn stuff from you, and love reciprocating knowledge when I can.
Thank you so much for all you contribute.
Rejoice!

Here’s to txp grease monkey, for keeping the machinery going! Without your constant care, our yellow mustard submarine would sink with all smart people onboard.

Thanks, etc. There will be no drowning on my watch. The occasional mutiny may still surface, however.

On a personal note, I’ve gained so much from your guidance and my knowledge has grown significantly. You’re always incredibly generous with your time and patient with my endless questions. Thank you.

Thanks, Algaris. A cheeky lemonade or three next year when the weather is better?

That sounds like a plan (or at the least the start of one). Next time you’re down Truro way give me a shout.
