1x Textpattern, >1 domain, but not multi-site
I’d like to have a single instance of Textpattern available across >1 domains (henceforth: the ‘main’ URL as set out in prefs, and an ‘other’ domain that’s not in Textpattern at all). I don’t think this falls under the multi-site umbrella since it’s a single collection of content, but accessed from >1 domains.
I will consciously not use tags that divert to the main site domain, but I’m curious if there’s anything in Textpattern that will panic if page content is detected as being served from the other domain.
Thank you.

If you leave Site URL pref empty, txp should have no notion of ‘main’ URL and work on both URLs. Otherwise dunno.

Please let us know how it works, I’m curious.

I will. It’s a way off yet, but the project I’m working on will have a .onion domain as an entry point, so I’ll need to juggle Nginx talking to Tor and the glue in the middle. It looks relatively straightforward, more so now I’ve compiled the current server-side Tor and brute-forced a vanity .onion address. ETA: spring 2026.
