Re: Plugin to restore prev/next article in write pane?

I’ve been using the plugin on a few php 8 servers, and it has an annoying quirk; all works well on initial page load, but use the Save button and it stops working… until you reload.

Can you try setting the plugin type to 4 (admin + ajax)? I currently have 3 and maybe that’s hindering the refresh on ajax save. I‘m on the road and can‘t test at present.

No rush!

It installed as type 5; I tried types 3 & 4 but these made no difference…

Thanks for testing. I had a look just now and type 4 (admin + async) works for me. Type 5 (admin + async + public) shouldn’t be necessary, as there’s no front-side / public aspect to the plugin.

What I do see, however, is a shift in the “Recent Articles” pane after async save. They get added to the bottom of the sidebar panel and not to the group’s content (on the current 4.9.-beta, at least). I need to check that.

Now fixed. See the updated v0.2.1 Release on GitHub.
